Egy misztikus sziget, a Houraijima 50 év után újra előtűnik a semmiből, azonban mivel négy harcos istenség, a Shitoushin hatalmas erővel őrzi a szigetet, képtelenség megközelíteni – de elhagyni is. A szigeten élő féldémon gyermekek – akiket az istenségek későbbi áldozatainak szánnak – végül úgy döntenek, hogy közülük a legfiatalabbat elküldik a külső világba segítségért. A kis Ai a véletlen folyamán pont Inuyasháékba botlik bele, így tőlük kér segítséget. Inuyasha és Kikyo 50 évvel korábban már jártak a szigeten és harcoltak is a Háború Négy Istenével. Sesshomarunak szintén nézeteltérése támad az egyik istennel, így magától értetődő, hogy – a saját útját járva – ő sem marad ki a misztikus sziget sötét titkának felfedéséből.

ロケ地は2007年に閉園した、北海道は帯広のグリュック王国。大渡の撮影時、偶然回った回転ブランコが象徴的。PV初の本州脱出ロケ。完成時しばらくは社内で「ロシアロケ」と言い張れたクォリティ。グリュック王国は当初余り期待してはいなかったが、遠目からの完璧な仕様と予想以上の閑古鳥の感じがこの曲の方向性を決定付けた。
